Some of the children are starting to bring in little gifts for some of their friends. It started out with drawing pictures which I didn't really object to, but now it is graduating to snacks and little gifts. This is well intentioned, I'm sure, but I'm going to have to ask that this not be done during class as I don't want any child's feelings hurt that they didn't receive anything and I don't want it turning into a popularity contest. Thank you for  your understanding.

Today is BCA day at Hawkeye's . Enjoy a great meal and support BCA at the same time. Bring in your receipt for a dress down day next Wednesday.

This week's spelling test has been postponed until next Friday, which gives the cherubs an extra week to study these words. I'm sure their spelling test grades will be spectacular.

Don't forget to turn your clocks BACK one hour before you go to bed Saturday night.

Today is All Saints' Day. It is a holy day of obligation. If you did not have a chance to attend mass today, many of the local churches have evening services tonight.

Tomorrow is All Souls' Day. Please keep in your prayers all the deceased members of BCA families and friends. Please remember in a particular way, Ms. Ellen Malone, Miss Janie Daniels, Miss Eva Balas, Mrs. Louise Schuck, Mrs. Wendy Shviraga, and Miss Orchowski, who helped make BCA what it is today. May they all rest in peace.
