Homework: Math: Homework 107B; work on counting dimes, nickels, and pennies.
Spelling: Study for test on Thursday
When counting coins, give an assortment to count at one time. Ex: maybe put two dimes, some nickels, and pennies together and have that counted.
When spelling this week's spelling words, please be sure that your child is including the apostrophe in the spelling. Also be sure that the apostrophe is between the n and the t when writing. Since the apostrophe takes the place of the o in the word, putting it anywhere else is wrong and will be marked as such.
The May altars were very nicely done. They are on display in the second floor hallway and have received many compliments by teachers and other students in the building.
Please remember lollipop day on Thursday to benefit the victims of the earthquake in Nepal. We are very fortunate to live where we do. One can only imagine what the people of Nepal are going through. Remember them in your prayers also.
Have a nice evening. Go Hawks!!!!!!
