Some of the children are getting careless about their work again, and frankly I can't believe that they are being allowed to turn papers in this way. The children are skipping problems, writing their names incorrectly, and numbers and letters are being made haphazardly. I might understand this at the beginning of the year, but by now there should be an improvement in the work. Please check your child's work and make sure it is their best Also, . I will no longer accept work that looks like it was used as a placemat for dinner.

There is a Scholastic Book order going home in your child's Friday folder. This will be the last order I am sending for the year. If you are planning on stocking up on books for your child to read over the summer, you might want to check this out.

please practice tying shoes. There are too many children who still can't tie their shoes. This is a life skill that they need to know.

                    Science: Take an ice cube, put it in a cup and watch what happens. Take the cup, put it
                                   back in the freezer. What do you think will happen?  Be ready to share with the
                                    class.



Remember there is an early dismissal tomorrow at 1:40. It is important that you be on time. There is no extended day tomorrow.

Please remember to keep Miss Orchowski's family and friends in your prayers. Visitation is tomorrow in the chapel from 3:00-8:00 P.M.  The funeral mass will be celebrated in the chapel also at 10:00 on Saturday.

Had a great time at the play. Thanks to Mrs. Karpinski for setting it up. You may not realize it, but planning a field trip takes a lot of work. The children really enjoyed the play.

Tomorrow is our field trip. Please send a lunch with your child as we will eat upon our return. School uniforms (not gym uniforms) are to be worn.
