Tomorrow is Red Ribbon Week dress down day. Come dressed down in something RED.

A friendly reminder: If you are passing out treats on Friday, the treats must be treats that are made in a peanut and tree nut free environment. If not, your child will not be able to pass them out. They will have to go back home with your child. Sorry for the inconvenience, but we are more concerned with the safety of the children with allergies.  Also, please make sure there is enough for all the children in the class. We have  29.

Here's a bit of useless trivia for you------The number word forty is the only word whose letters are in alphabetical order.

                                      Today is the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. Please take time out to say the rosary. The children's faith partners were down in the classroom explaining the rosary to them. They may not understand the whole rosary, but the adults should. If time does not permit for the saying of the whole rosary, a decade will do. October is the month of the Holy Rosary.

                                       Useless trivia: October is National Pizza Month.

Homework: Math: Find ways to make 7,8,9. Practice writing addition number sentences for each.
                              (Do not bring the sentences in. Keep at home. You can start working on addition
                               flashcards with sums to 10.
                    Spelling: Study for test on Friday.
