The Archdiocese of Chicago is sponsoring a Festival of Forgiveness. This is an opportunity for Catholics to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. There will be opportuniities for you to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation at Nativity of Our Lord parish tonight after the 6:30 p.m. Holy Hour/Adoration and Stations of the Cross until 10:00 p.m. Also, tomorrow, February 28th from 2:00-4:30 p.m. This event will be taking place at various churches throughout the Archdiocese. Please take advantage of the time to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation especially during this season of Lent.

Spring training starts Thursday for pitchers and catchers of some major league baseball teams. Thought I'd throw in that little fact for those who are sick of looking out the window, seeing that white stuff, and tired of wearing extra clothing. However.....Thank God we don't live in Boston!!!!
