The children are starting to tell me that they can't get their homework done because they have volleyball or basketball or they have been too busy over the weekend. I don't give that much homework that there isn't time to get it done. I know that sports are important but to me the academics are more important.

Starting next week the children will start reading books to their classmates. The books do not have to be long and there does not have to be a lot of  words on the page. I will start alphabetically. So start looking around for books that your child can read.  There will be more details in a letter at the end of the week. Look for it in your child's Friday folder.

Have a nice evening!!!
