                    Spelling: Study words from previous lessons for test on Friday.




This week's  spelling test will be a test on words previously learned. As I mentioned before, we do not just learn to spell the words for that week's test. The purpose of learning the words is to be able to use them not only for that week but in the future in our writing.

Thank you to the moms, dads,  and grandmas and grandpas who chaperoned our trip to the Museum of Science and Industry? A special thank-you to Andrew Delgado's grandpa who sent cupcakes for the first graders to enjoy after the trip. We all enjoyed viewing the trees. Can you guess which country had the tree decorated with waffles?

Remember, early dismissal at 1:50 on Friday.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. The weather was beautiful which was another thing to add to the "Thankful List".

Thanks to all who took time to attend conferences last Tuesday.

Field trip money was due today. There are still several people who have not turned this in. Wednesday, 8:00 A.M. is positively the last time to turn this in. If you are not sending your child please let me know.
