Homework: Math: Fact Homework 87; Homework 87B
Spelling: Study for test on Friday.
It's cold outside. Please make sure your child has a hat if there is no hood on his/her coat. Some of the children had no hats today. Gloves would be a good idea also.
Please remember if you are driving today to drive safely and stay off those cell phones. There's enough to worry about with the snow and ice. Everyone needs to be safe.
Have a great evening!!! This would be a good evening to drink hot chocolate (or whatever you like) and maybe play some board games with your family.

Homework: Spelling: Study words for test on Friday.
I was at the basketball game on Saturday and even though the first graders lost their games, they gave it their best and played their little hearts out! I was so proud of them. My reward to them for their effort is no written homework tonight.
Read to Succeed papers due tomorrow.
We have a new first grader! Welcome to Payton Goodwin. I'm sure the first graders will make her feel at home and she will soon have a lot of new friends.
Don't put your shovels away yet. The weathermen tell us we're in for some more of the white stuff. Ahh- to be in Arizona for spring training...........
Have a great evening!!!

Please, Please, Please! teach your child his/her address and phone number. I was unpleasantly surprised at how many first graders do not know where they live or what their phone number is. This information is vital for your child to know.
Have a great evening!!!
