I am starting to take the word lists for Superkids Units 3&4 from the children. Please start sending these in.

Continue working on the Read to Succeed reading and the Fatherhood essays. Everyone is expected to participate.

Remember that tomorrow is Ash Wednesday and this marks the beginning of the Lenten Season. There is an all-school Mass at 8:30 tomorrow if you wish to receive your ashes.

Spring training starts Thursday for pitchers and catchers of some major league baseball teams. Thought I'd throw in that little fact for those who are sick of looking out the window, seeing that white stuff, and tired of wearing extra clothing. However.....Thank God we don't live in Boston!!!!

I have started taking the word list for Units 3-4. If you feel your child has mastered the list, send it in to school and I will work with them. I will expect all the children to have their word list in the week after next so I can see where they are.

If you participate in Freddies' day today please send in your receipt tomorrow and your child may dress down.

Remember there is no school this Thursday and Friday.

If you have not turned in your pizza order slip for February 17th, it is due by tomorrow. No late orders will be accepted. This is a free lunch sponsored by Home and School, but we need to know what your child's preference is to be sure to have enough of each on hand. There will be a charge of $2.00 per extra slice. If you do not wish to order pizza, that is fine, but please make sure you send in your forms tomorrow if your child is to get a pizza lunch.
