Everyone was given a reading word list at the end of kindergarten last year with the instructions of working on it over the summer to get ready for first grade. This should be done nightly as part of your child's homework.

If you are ordering pizza, money is due by Monday. Pizza Day, is Friday, Sept. 19th.

Please remind your child to sneeze or cough into the elbow. We are using Clorox wipes to clean our desks
but we need to be mindful of that if we don't cover our mouths we are spreading germs. Also remind your chjild to wash hands after using the bathroom and before handling food.

                   Science: Baby pictures due on Monday

Please speak to your child about the rules for the lunchroom. The children are to go to the lunchroom in an orderly fashion, get their lunch, or if they have their own lunch go to their seats, and sit and eat their lunch. There is to be no food throwing, screaming, or walking around. When it is time to leave the lunchroom, they are to pick up their own leftovers, push in their chairs and line up quietly. They have not quite mastered this yet, Honestly, it needs a lot of work. Parents are not there to pick up after the children. They are old enough to do this. They are also old enough to be able to line up without running and screaming. Your help is appreciated. Sometimes a gentle reminder is all that is needed.

Today is BCA day at Punky's. Take a break from cooking and enjoy a delicious dinner by dining in, carrying out, or having your meal delivered to your door. Tomorrow is a dress down day for those who participate. Remember to turn in your receipt.
