Tomorrow is color day. The first grade color is blue. Please dress in blue tomorrow.  It is also share a snack with your faith partner day. Please bring a snack for your faith partner(s). Remember we are peanut free..



Remember there are no hot lunches tomorrow. Everyone needs to bring a lunch.

Homework: Math: Work on flashcards both subtraction and addition facts.

                    Religion: Practice making and saying the words for the Sign of the Cross.



Please be sure that when your child is making the Sign of the Cross, they are using the correct hand. The right hand is the one to use. Also, the words are: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.  It is not Father, Son, Holy Spirit. It should be said the correct way and with respect. I will be testing them on this on Friday.

Today was Isabella Sorrentino's last day. We wish her and her family well as they begin their new adventure in London.  Isa  was a very important part of our first grade family. She will be missed.

There have been several questions about the due date for the Fatherhood essays. The due date is February 15th. I did not realize when the forms were given to me to pass out that there wasn't a due date on them. I apologize for any inconvenience.

The other question was about the family shields. I spoke to Mrs. Farnan this morning. The shields need to be cut out. These are due this Thursday.

On a more somber note, Isabella Sorrentino will be leaving us. She is starting a new adventure in merry old England. The family will be relocating to London. An exciting and happy time for her, but a sad day for us as we will miss her.
