                     Spelling: Study for test. (We were not ready. Use the extra time to study. It will be given
                                     on Monday ready or not.

If there seems like there is a little more work than usual in Math it's because we had a very noisy day. The children were not listening and were not paying attention. It's difficult enough to get a concept across, but when they want to continue talking it makes it impossible. Please speak to your child about the importance of listening, respecting adults, and following directions.  We are almost at the end of first grade and they know what the rules are and what is expected of them.

Homework:  Math: Problem Solving 9-1
                     Spelling: Study for test on Thursday

If you have not already sent in your clean 15 or 16 oz. can please do so by tomorrow. We were going to do a project today, but could not do so because everyone did not bring in a can.  I will wait until tomorrow, but the children who do not have a can will not do the project.

Condolences to Deacon Fran Henry on the passing of his sister. Please keep Deacon and the rest of his family in your prayers.

I hope everyone had a fun and relaxing break. Now it's time for the final stretch. Please continue to stress the importance of listening and following  directions to your child.
